Q. No. 14 Rush. When did you get your best rush of the year?
A. Bungee jumping in whistler annnnnnnnd this ride at 6 flags magic mountain outside of LA. Bungee jumping is, well, fairly self explanatory except that i literally fell off the edge instead of jumping. The guy holding my rope thought for sure that i was going to back out of the whole experience, and decided to conveniently place his foot against mine and yell at me until i jumped. Because i was sure he was going to push me, i fell rather than jumped because i wanted to get off the planform before he pushed. (Is it wrong that i judged him by his sweaty bandana, shaggy hair and aviator glasses?). Falling made the whole ordeal fairly ungraceful and i looked like i was trying to curl up into a ball (i've got the pictures to prove it, but i'm not posting them here!).
Regardless, it was the best and biggest rush i've ever experienced. Even more so that skydiving, which i find rather odd. Having experienced both, i would much rather jump out of a plane than bungee jump in the future.
Second rush of the year, was the tatsu ride at 6 flags. Allow me to explain this ride to you. You begine by sitting in like any normal roller coaster. They strap you in, they play you the safety tape, and they tell you to secure any loose clothing. Then your seats move back so that your body is suspended, and parrallel to the ground. that's right just like you are flying. You remain in this position for the duration of the ride, and let me tell you, it was worth every minute of the 1.5 hour wait (and that was on a weekday, before summer vacation!). If any of you are ever in the area of L.A. i highly highly recommend taking a trip to 6 flags - because wherelse can you experience what it would feel like to fly?
