Today is day one of my own personal challenge. I have decided to start living life right!
What is a start living life right challenge you say? It is about actually doing all of those things we always tell ourself we should be doing. I'm pretty sure i'm not the only one out there who thinks
"i should go to the gym today"
"i should really take few minutes and go for a bath"
"i should really make my lunch before i leave for work instead of eating fast food"
or one of the most important...
"i should really make more time to spend on relationships with my family and friends"
So, as a result - in the next 30 days i am going to make it my sole commitment to actually do all those things i know i really should do [within reason of course - it's not like i've recently come into a small fortune or anything!].
So today, i slept till noon. Now, it might not seem like it falls into the category of things i should be doing - but if you've talked to me anytime in the past few weeks, you'll know i've pretty much been on a consistent emotional roller coaster. I've been in need of rest - but really haven't taken the time to take it. Today i did. And it felt great.
I prescribed myself a day of bedrest and i've spent most of the day since waking up, watching criminal minds (my new favortite show), reading the new Lush Times i got in the mail, and playing with my puppa-lup.
Tomorrow i start the actual good stuff - working out and all that. I promise!
