Q. Number 15 Best packaging. Did your headphones come in a sweet case? See a bottle of tea in another country that stood off the shelves?
A. My shampoo bottle/packing this year definitely piqued my interest. It made me want to run to my creative work desk and make something with black and sparkly turquoise - because it just looked so darned sharp. am i right? one look at awesome colour combinations like that gets my creative juices flowing!
Q. Number 16 Tea of the year. I can taste my favorite tea right now. What's yours?
A. This one (thankfully for me) will be short and sweet. This year i discovered tea forte (ruby red and orchid vanilla being my favorite flavors so far)
Q. Number 17 Word or phrase. A word that encapsulates your year. "2009 was _____."
A. Overwhelming and challenging - both in good ways and bad. [refer to this post for further explanation]
Q. Number 18 Shop. Online or offline, where did you spend most of your mad money this year?
A. Jess and i both discovered Mantique this year, and since then, they have stolen much much much of our money. It probably doesn't help that they carry very expensive clothes, but it is just so easy to walk out of there with a complete outfit.
Q. Number 19 Car ride. What did you see? How did it smell? Did you eat anything as you drove there? Who were you with?
A. On Jess's birthday in October, a few friends and i had to go on a short car right to gather some necessities for the party that was taking place later on in the evening. 5 of us, and rolo climbed into the car, accessorized with party hats already, and we were on our way. The car was packed, we were listening to music and goofing around, when this photo opportunity presented itself, making it one of the best car rides of the year:

Q. Number 20 New person. She came into your life and turned it upside down. He went out of his way to provide incredible customer service. Who is your unsung hero of 2009?
A. Does this have to be a person? Because i would very much like to nominate my dog Rolo as the best new "living thing" that has entered my life this year. He has taught me so many new things, even though he's a dog and can't really talk. I truely believe that pets can be best friends, and that they have the capabilities to turn someones life around and make it just that much better.
Bringing Rolo Home (in april)

Thanks for the blog love! Sounds like you had a really great year of rebuilding, too... It's always harder than it seems like it will be, but worth it once you can look back and realize how far you've come.
Best of luck in 2010- I'll be reading!
